‘As an HR professional I am used to listening. Hence, I expect the same from a professional search firm. However, some seem to act more like car salesmen. Only a few seem to be able to listen properly. I am looking for someone who is not just seeing me as a potential placement fee, but is rather genuinely interested in my needs, motivations and career aspirations.‘

Speaking my Language

‘I am in a permanent role and the job is great fun, but it is slowly but surely time for the next step. It would be great if I had a kind of sparring partner who would accompany me on that journey, someone who knows what I'm talking about and who really speaks my HR language.‘

Hitting the Nail on the Head

‘Over time, you meet many recruiters. So you get an idea of the criteria you would be applying for yourself if you’d once be using their services as a candidate. I’d be looking for someone being responsive, with a very honest approach to communication.‘

“Diplom-Kaufmann” (Master of Business Administration); generalist HR manager with 25 years experience in international HR management of a leading energy company (Shell) and in the IT industry (Nixdorf). Extensive work experience in Germany, Scotland and the Netherlands, among others with global HR responsibility for people in more than 80 countries.

Frithjof Reitter

Economist. For nearly 30 years in the HR business as active HR expert with extensive experience as general manager in the personnel department of Dresdner Bank AG (in Germany and abroad - USA), as Global HR Director at Germanischer Lloyd and later as HR Interim Manager in globally operating corporations.

Kirsten Vogt

Degree in Business Studies & Systemic Coach. For nearly 20 years in the HR business, first as HR Officer at J. P. Morgan and GZS Gesellschaft für Zahlungssysteme mbH, later as Director HR & Projects of the Deutsche Annington Immobilien GmbH. Since 2010 freelancing as Senior HR Consultant, mainly for HR concepts or projects, business coaching, application training and career counseling.

Olaf Schaefer

Degree in Business Economics and Business Coach. Since 1995 in the HR business, most of the time on generalist international positions, amongst others as HR Manager and HR Work Stream Lead at Shell in Munich, London and Hamburg, as well as an Interim HR Manager and HR Project Manager.
